Washington Township Parks is hosting their 1st fishing Tournament!
The Fish for Fun Tournament requires anglers to submit a photo showing the measured length of the fish, and a video release into the allowed ponds.
To join the tournament, you must pay the $10.00 registration fee.
In this 1-day tournament, anglers will compete to catch the longest Bass, submit a photo of the fish with a measurement tool, and a video showing the release of the fish. There are 2 directors that will approve the measurement photos of the fish.

Note:
September 26, 2026 (The day of the tournament) is a free fishing day in Indiana. A fishing license is not required.
Anglers may only use the following ponds to fish: Washington Township Park ponds, or the Pecar Nature Center Pond.
Submissions for longest bass must be submitted via text to a specified phone number. The phone number will be provided to participants after registering and paying for the event.
