Programs
Did you know that most bicycle crashes and injuries are not caused by cars, but by the cyclist losing control of their bike? The Washington Township Parks has partnered with the Hendricks County Health Department to give young bicyclists the tools they need to stay safe on their next bike ride, and for years to come. The bike rodeo will equip participants with skills to promote safe bicycling and put them into practice by completing skills-related obstacle courses.
Participants must provide their own bicycle and wear closed-toed shoes and a helmet.
Parents are expected to stay at the event for the entire time their cyclist is attending.
