MAP Group Swim Lessons, 10:10-10:40am THURSDAYS

Class Placement:
To create a safe and effective learning environment, we will be dividing students into classes based on both age and swimming ability. This dual approach helps us tailor instruction to each child's unique needs, ensuring they get the most out of every lesson.

Age Groups:
Initially, students will be grouped by age to foster a supportive social atmosphere within each class. This initial grouping provides an opportunity for children to connect with peers who are at a similar stage in their development.

Skill Assessment:
On the first day of swim lessons, our experienced instructors will assess each child's swimming ability. Following this evaluation, students will be further placed into appropriate levels to ensure they receive instruction that matches their current skills.

Levels of Development:
We have three levels of development, each designed to progressively build swimming skills:

Level 1 - Water Exploration: Safety skills, floating, kicking, and basic strokes.
Level 2 - Primary Skills: Unsupported floating, proper kicking, gliding, and basic strokes.
Level 3 - Stroke Readiness: Independent swimming, advanced strokes, glides, and water-treading skills.
What to Expect:
Please be assured that our goal is to provide a positive and enriching experience for every child. Grouping by age and ability allows us to customize our approach, ensuring your child's safety and promoting a lifelong love of swimming.

Note:

Program Details:
Murphy Aquatic Park is an outdoor water park, and we want to emphasize that our swim sessions happen rain or shine. However, in certain weather conditions, we may need to cancel lessons for safety reasons. Cancellations will occur if:

Heavy rain obscures the bottom of the pool.
Thunder or lightning is present within 10 miles.
It feels like the weather is below 68 degrees.

Cancellation Notification:
If we have to cancel a class, you will be notified by email at least one hour before the scheduled start time. Please make sure your contact information is accurate, as last-minute cancellations may be unavoidable due to unpredictable weather.

Make-Up Classes:
Make-up classes will be scheduled for any canceled sessions. However, it's important to note that make-up classes are not available for missed or forgotten swim lessons. We strongly encourage all participants to attend on the scheduled day and time.

Refund Policy:
Refunds will not be issued after the class start date for any reason. By registering for this program, you are agreeing to these policies.
