Full Moon Hike at Pecar Park-Blood Moon

Join us for a March 3rd Full Moon Hike and explore the park by moonlight. As the full moon rises, its reddish tones—sometimes called a blood moon—are caused by Earth’s atmosphere filtering sunlight. Learn how moonlight affects wildlife behavior, nighttime navigation, and human culture while enjoying a calm, guided evening walk.
Please dress for the weather.

Note:

We'll meet at Pecar Nature Center first before hiking the trails. The trails are considered easy to moderate. Please dress for the weather.
If the weather is bad, we'll cancel and refund for the program.
